I love my STOCK 1984 corvette, and i wouldnt trade it for anything in the world not even a new zr1. If you dont like the c4, why do you own one? sell it and buy a c3 or c5 since oyu think theyr'e oh so great. the only thing i like about the c3 is the fender lines, thats one reason i chose the c4, and the only thing i like about the c5 are the wheels

Also hte stock engine is not a snooze fest as you so edountedly put. I've had mine from 40 to 70 in almost a second, without any wheel spin, try doing that with your 500hp. monster

That's the funniest thing I've heard all day! Your just mad because c4's are faster than c3's and you can modify them more than a c3 and still be able to get a couple of grand out of em! I'd much rather have a f.i. engine than a carb'd engine, no pumping the gas before you start it in the morning, no priming the carb after a few days of not driving it, no having to let it warm up for 30 minutes and it drinks less gas

Just remembered, i used to have a carb'd elky a while back for a project car. Pretty new 305 crate motor with a auto 4l60e trans, i let it sit for a month and a half after i got my 'vette with out starting it(all i did was put fuel stabilizer in it) i went out to start it after a month and a half and it wouldnt even try to crank, so i hooked it up to my dads pickup and tryed to jump it off. I primed that carb for a good thirty minutes before it finally turned over then it died.

After i blew my pinion gear to shreds i had to let my 'vette sit for a little bit while i figured out what was wrong with it, that was in febuary, when we moved i had to tow it over here, so we decided to jumped it off(dead battery from my subs and amp, but thats another story) so we would be sure that the power steering and brakes would work properly, my baby started up the first try without any hesitation and man did she sound nasty(it's coming straight off the y-pipe up front

So i'd much rather have a c4 than a c3
