Vegas, Baby!
I needed some Continuing Education credits, so looked at all the dental CE available in Vegas and found a good one for this weekend. Taking the wife and daughter for three days. Staying at Bellagio and have tickets to "O". I'll spend some time at the craps tables and a little more at the slots. It's been a while since we've been there. Last time was the only time I drove the Vette out there and found that one of the valets had taken my car on a joy ride of 84 miles during the night. Don't know why I love the place so much, but I can't wait to get there. So, how do you feel about Vegas? Seems to be a love it or hate it kind of place.

I go once a year for business and after the third day I am more than ready to come home. I hate that the casinos still allow smoking, the whole place smells like a stale ashtray. I guess you could say I'm not a giant fan but I'll be back there in March.

The smoking thing is way better than 20 years ago. Probably improvements in ventilation. But I remember going to a casino back then that was non-smoking and it didn't even feel like a casino because there wasn't a fog of smoke in the room. In those days there was a thick cloud in every casino. But you're right -- it does still smell like an ash tray with all the carpeting saturated with the smoke.

Hey Doc, send me a ticket and I'll carry your luggage. I'll even bash Obama at dinner!

Done. But I really don't see Doc as much of a zombie killing fool. He's more of a lover, not a killer.

Yup. You got that right. But when you travel to Vegas with your wife AND daughter..... You're just a gambler.
I love to gamble. Fortunately I can keep it down to the occasional Vegas trip. We have the largest casino in the world about an hour north of here. I never go. It just isn't the same as Vegas.

I lost $20 gambling in Reno once. Got pissed and never gambled again. I'm a cheap ass when it comes to losing money.
