Patrick...
I know it's hard, man. They're your best friend and part of your family and life. The best thing we can do for them, you have done and are doing....you've loved and cared and now you're taking that to another level. Just knowing the pain and problems will no longer bother your companion will help you get through.

Patrick,
I'm so sorry to hear this. We just went through this a year ago last month...can't believe it's been that long. I know how hard it is. Our thoughts are with you...

I could not have said it any more succinctly.

I'm sorry about your pal Patrick. I've been in your shoes brother and it's heartbreaking

God speed to your friend and companion and our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Rest in the peace that you have given him the best a pet could ask for, given him a warm, friendly and happy place to live and showed him all the love you had.

Now rest in the knowledge that you are doing fo him the greatest, most loving thing one could do for him...letting him go to be in peace.

hang in there bro...

The first thread I've ever read on DC I was sorry to read. Like some of us here including me, we've lived through the loss of a dear friend, a pet. Thinking of all the good memories is all you can do. I feel your pain, hang in there Patrick.

Sorry to hear this Bud. Pets stop becoming pets and start becoming one of the family and are missed as much or more than a relative. My thoughts are with you

RACING...Because with baseball, football, basketball, tennis, and golf, you only need one ball

I used to think that I had learned patience as I got older. Then I realized that I just didn't give a shit

Patrick, I can't express how sorry I am, it sucks to lose the one that was always there for you no matter what. I know nothing anyone says can make this easier, eventually tears of goodbye turn into smiles of memories. You gave each other 13 great years and best friends never truely leave us.

I just watched the video. Man Pat, I am so sorry to hear about his. He reminds me so much of my Black Lab. They are such cool dogs! I think I will go out back and give my dogs a hug.

just try to find solace in knowing you gave him the best of lives and experiences he could've gotten. He's bragging right now about riding in the vette, bro.
