I also noticed this evening that the top doesn't lay flat on the Deck of the car on one side. i think it needs some glue. The seller did get the top replaced 2yrs ago in Feb, so maybe it does need some glue.

There is a Special adhesive just for Convertible Tops.
Its Just called CONVERTIBLE TOP GLUE ADHESIVE.
I don't know what it really is.
The adhesive dries out fails eventual.
Its starts losing its Bond and pulls free.

The entire C4 CONVERTIBLE TOP FRAME IS MADE FROM AIRCRAFT GRADE ALUMINIUM .
THE VERY REAR BOW AT THE DECKLID IS GRAPHITE FIBERGLASS.

I had to reglue bond my Top in the past at the Rear Bow.
They did not use enough adhesive .
What I had on hand then Was 3 M Super Weather Strip Adhesive in an Aerosal can.
It has worked held since 2008.
I rebonded glued the entire lower bow area of about 28 inches long Left to right.
I used Wood paint mixing sticks to clamp tight with minature Wood workers clamps .
The Fabric must be positioned just right and correct tension.
This keeps 2/3 rds of the Top tight and no Sags.
Its A real PIA......

Convertible Top work is a speciality.
But I got it done myself.
