DAMN!

Kudos to you for having the talent to build your own engine. Some of us geeks wish they had taken auto-shop instead of computer-lab in high school.

Well, you are a genius, so that would explain it.

Automotive wanna-bees like myself WISH they had taken autoshop... I needed all the help I could get!

Reminds me of the first time I replaced the plugs on my 6 cyl Ford Fairmont.

I could get 5 of them out, so I just replaced the 5.

When my father asked me if I gapped them, I'm like.... what? Needless to say the car ran like shit for 4 months until I had the balls to go to Trak Auto and ask for a "gap tool".

Turns out that I was the tool! I wish the internet was available 18 years ago! All of the plugs had dramatically different gaps. All of the violent back-firing went away once they were gapped properly.... after 4 months of scaring women and children!
