If you would like to make this trip and get a little annual run going, sign on and we will get it started. Hope lot's of cars sign on. Well, what's another goal-date to complete the motor for '09. I've had about 4 that have come and gone, but the Dragon is still on the list.

Just wanted to throw up a quick reminder about our trip to the Dragon Oct 31-Nov 01. We are stoked about going and hope some more of you can make the trip. I will post every couple of weeks to remind everyone and as the trip gets closer I will chat with anyone going and set up rendezvous times and places. Heard about an awesome route to get there today that will be a blast to drive on the way up.

Junkman, for sure right now, me and my wife and the two guys I always cruise with are in. Mr Zippy has said he is interested and I really hope he goes because I want to see a ZR1 in action. You being from Louisville, you aren't too far away so hope you can make it. Spread the word and see if you can get some people from your area to make it. I think it is going to be a great run and hopefully the weather will be amazing that weekend.

I may go just for the hell of it. I'm more of a speed demon so taking a lot of turns is not really my cup of tea. The opportunity to hook up with fellow forum members means more to me than anything else. Hell, maybe I'll fix some paint issues when we all hook up!

My Brother-in-law and I went up last September with the Harleys and are going again in 2 weeks. So much fun!! You guys have to go if you get the chance! If you go forget about looking at the scenery and be sure to keep your full attention on the road.

I have been there before with a group from the CAC.I am instered in going again. We have always stayed in Alcoa,Tn at the Holiday Inn Express. There is a O'Charlies,a steak house and a seafood/fish restaurant within walking distance of the hotel.Located on Associates Blvd, the Dragon is not far from there. There is another Hotel there but I do not remember what it is.

As soon as we can get a confirmed number that is going, I will start calling the motels and seeing about rooms. We are planning on going up on Friday evening and running all day Saturday, staying Saturday night and then run it once more on Sunday morning before heading home. I am really stoked about going and I am like Junkman, I think it will be cool to meet fellow Vette enthusiasts face to face instead of just on the computer. So if you're planning on going, let's try and get a number within the next couple of weeks and start finding accomodations.

The Dragon

Marked my calendar, we only live about 45 minutes from the tail. Franklin, NC

Every time our Vette friends visit us we have to take them to the Dragon. LOL

Sounds like it could be a great time for all!
