Holy crap. The only thing that car is good for is finding out if your date is wearing panties or not.

so we got the seats we are gonna use on the gto. and what else better. of course they will be recovered perhaps with some orange stitching or something. it is nice because they are power.

so here's something nobody tells you about ls swapping an old gm a body, the inner tie rods and oil pan become the steering stops and greatly limit turning radius...

so we gotta install this kit from flaming river. it will go nicely with the rest of the build...

just look at all that paperwork on my desk. it's gonna be a long day at the office.

old stuff removed...

got the column in and the steering shaft sorted out. it looks good and turns smooth. haven't fit the seats yet, they are just sitting in there.

finally got the 0 - 90 ohm sender for the new tank , and got the tank setup and installed. tank depth is 6 inches. so sending unit and fuel pump assembly when setup can only be described as cute. tiny little float looks like it should go in a go-kart. used -an push lock fittings and fast 150psi fuel hose. also to keep things simple and correct to the engine and controller, we are using a c5 fuel filter. the c5 fuel filter has a built in 58psi regulator and fuel return so we get the clean look of a returnless system and the functionality of a return style system.

Fuel system is complete and ready for gas..

Got the clutch master and reservoir installed and ready for brake fluid..

Started on the brake lines. We went with a MP or master power big brake conversion. the proportioning valve that came with the kit does not have any type of adjustment on it, so we got a wilwood part. unfortunately it was made to work with a wilwood master, so the small lines that came with it were irrelevant and I had to make those small lines..

Now we need to build 3 brake lines coming down off that. 1 to each front wheel and 1 to the rear. the pressure is on, this needs to come out looking right. oh, and there's fresh paint everywhere.

don't let the -6 an fittings and 3/8 fuel line and hose fool you. it is getting charged to 58psi. so it will feed the boosted ls6. and if it does drop fuel pressure and go lean at the top end on the dyno, then we will wire in a boost a pump and run that pump up to 18v

That's my future supercharger I keep telling you about. the tvs2300. magnuson's biggest and baddest. the same tech that is in the c6 zr1 and the cts v . it is a real tease working with it all day. touching it. talking to it. holding it. I want that damn blower, man. I mean that one specifically has the wrong base. I need rectangle ports. the gto is cathedral. ls6/ls2 dart pro1 heads. 11.5:1comp before the boost. I gotta be careful with the tuning. and this will only see 4-6psi
