Please understand that from a business perspective, there is nothing to be gained from rolling one site into another and our/my G8 sites are ample proof of that.

Don't worry. This site will always be blue until you convince me that it shouldn't.

We all appreciate that Don. Welcome to the family. The longer you're here, the more it will seem like family.

If you or anyone else in your company have the opportunity, we'd love to have you at our track event next month. It's a great opportunity to get to know some great people at DC.

Oh, don't listen to ChuckA. I'm sure he'll have you thinking we all want the backgrounds green.

Well Patrick, I hate to see you go as the owner of Digital Corvettes.com. I have always liked the fact that this site was owned by a person and not a huge company. This has always been my home away for my internet home. You mentioned that your jobs kept you away for the things you enjoyed, well I hope you find more time for the things you love, family and Corvettes. Just one question, do you keep the member #1 status? Have a good one and I hope to see you at an event someday....

I have both G8Board and G8Forum. G8Board is in a rebuilding process, but proof positive that we do not turn our forums into cookie cutter destinations.

I also look after GMInsideNews.com and LS1GTO.com and if you ever wanted to see two sites that are light years apart, its probably those two. Each is great in its own way, but they are not the same place by any means.

Thanks... Don

Bravo Patrick...

you have my very sincere congrats on a job well done. You have much to be proud of for creating such a fantastic community around one of the world's most exciting subjects/products.

It has been a pleasure getting to know you these past weeks and I look forward to continuing our relationship in the "next" phase...

Best to Becky too. Again bro-big ups from your friends on the left coast!

You know it!

And, again, everyone.... thank you for the nice things said. I look forward to getting another Vette in the barn soon, plus getting the battle damage repaired on the DC-Z.

This weekend marks the first time in 367 weeks that I'll actually be able to take the weekend off.
