Got the column installed and all wired in..

Now that the column is in and the ignition switch is wired up we are ready to begin getting the ecu programmed and calibrated to run that boosted LS6.

Crossed a major milestone. The GTO left the shop under its own steam. Still have a little ways to go, but man does this car look good out in the sunlight..

And the nose is mounted very carefully because it is a painted endura bumper..

Finally wrapped up the interior completely. Inside the car is done. and just look at these door panels..

and the courtesy lights. designed and intended to be able to be left on while driving. this car has no interior dome lights. All lighting is below the bottom of the window line..

Finished the nose of the car..

The halos are cob led's and they are bright..

Low beams are 6000k hid..

Hid bulbs have a warm up time before they begin to get real bright and we like the whole flash to pass thing so the high beams are halogen..

We have made some further changes to the GTO. In an effort to correct the vehicle's stance and ride height we installed a set of qa1 coilovers at all 4 corners. Here is the corrected ride height..

We also finished the trunk..

And here she is on the road..

Oh happy day! The GTO came back to visit today..

There was an oversight in the building of this machine that must be corrected. A big problem, indeed..

The hood release spring has been eating into the paintwork on the underside of the hood..

So we drilled a few holes and riveted a plate of aluminum to the hood..

And you know, while it is in the shop I took a bunch more pictures of this incredible machine that was built 100% in house at http://www.corvette-performance-expert.com/ ..
