Who predicted that Alabama was going to beat Ole Miss by 50?

I was really surprised that UGA beat South Carolina by more than the spread, but that sometimes happens even among the football powerhouses... not that you'd know about that... given the team you're following...

Alabama was supposed to beat the #15 ranked team by 50 points?

That's the mentality of you 'Bama fans. Most of you are still sitting in the stands waiting for the scoreboard to change in your favor.

You mean like the 12 points you were supposed to beat Houston by? You truly are a delusional idiot.

Seeing as I don't watch and can't stand basketball no matter who is playing....... you can suck this. Not sure why that's so difficult for you to understand.

Wow ... I just found out that playing Freshmen doesn't always mean you lose...

Looks like UGA has played more true Freshmen than any other college so far this year...

“We’ll play some freshmen,” coach Mark Richt said with a grin Tuesday.

The Bulldogs signed 26 true freshmen in their incoming class of 28 this past February. The two transfers in that group — junior Chuks Amaechi and senior Jake Ganus — are also receiving extensive playing time.

That may come as somewhat of a surprise as the Bulldogs generally were thought of as a veteran-laden team. But by all indications, it wasn’t your standard recruiting class. They came in rated No. 6 in the nation, according to 247Sports.com’s composite rankings.

Senior receiver Malcolm Mitchell has taken notice. “They definitely should sell that,” he said of all the freshmen playing, including all four receiver signees. “I think Georgia does a great job of not showing favorites in the realm of a senior versus a freshman. Whoever is the best guy gets the job.”
Well, I guess some coaching staffs do a better job of recruiting talent - and then figuring out how to use that talent - than some other teams we could discuss!

U of GA: 3 - 0

U of L: 0 - 3 ... and apparently headed no where...

Sprinkling in some freshmen here and there is one thing. Having your freshmen play the ENTIRE game is a completely different story. Now the question becomes who are you going to blame WHEN Georgia loses!

I always put the blame on the coaching staff. It's their job to ensure that the players are prepared and motivated.

When someone that works for me screws up, I might kick their butt in private, but I always step up and take responsibility for their actions. That's what I believe real leaders do.

I realize that not everyone shares my idea, though.

And yes, I'm prepared for Georgia's first loss - it might be as soon as they play Alabama. And if they have a good game plan, and they execute to the best of their ability, and Alabama defeats them, then that will be fine. When they played Alabama for the SEC Championship a few years ago, they played the best they could - and it was a great game - even though the final score wasn't at all what I wanted. However, I was proud of their effort, and I thought they had a great season.

Last year, I wasn't nearly as pleased with the coaching staff because I thought there were some games that we should have won and didn't. So UGA had to settle for the Belk Bowl, and they beat up some ACC team you may have heard of.
