I'm using Lunati and Oliver in my Impalas. I don't know the horsepower or RPM rating but I'm betting they're strong enough and then some. Not likely to bend or break either one. Heck, I've seen Eagle rods make a lot of reliable horsepower with big shots of nitrous and no issues. Almost all 4340 aftermarket rods are better than stock by a light-year or two. Most all aftermarket rod makers use ARP bolts. That must say something about ARP.

Working with mostly with word of mouth Reputation.
Few will give Up Ratings True on cranks and rods.
Ideal is 2:1 safety ratio.
Make 500 Hp True install a 1000 Hp rated connecting rod.
Race tight clearances should last 10k miles non stop.

Often do not as you know.

Just Know Carillo and Crower use all made in USA Smelted steel to make 4340.
Others most likely China.

Monler rods popular with Big Chevy guys.
Looked into.
Ponch V8.
Price $700 a set.
Price too low to be all USA.

These are 100% American made also. I guess you'll have to say they're lying but it's really true. I think I paid about $1200 for them "back-in-the day" and they're still going strong. Probably as good as they get. Aircraft quality 4340 is the highest grade available with the most stable grain structure.

No sense in arguing. You'll not change my mind. My mind is made up from my experiences and I like these good ole' rods.

Oliver connecting rods are made in America, from 100% American materials by the finest craftsmen in the world: Americans. Throughout our catalog we proudly display the American flag and use the term “Made in America” in honor of that commitment.
For generations, “Made in America” has signified the quality, durability and innovation of the product that bore the mark. We believe that is still true today.
Our success is the result of years of continuous product development. Our rod designs have been refined with feedback from the world’s best engine builders racing everywhere from the biggest NASCAR venues to local dirt tracks all over the U.S. and around the world. Our experience cannot be copied. Our knowledge of what works and what does not is without equal.
We do not and will not cut corners. We utilize the best materials from the finest suppliers. We use best practices in design and manufacturing. Each and every Oliver rod is built with Craftsmanship, Precision, Durability and Strength.
The fact is, we build what are arguably the best connecting rods in the world using American craftsmen and American materials. Oliver connecting rods are proudly, “Made in America.”

That's the Beauty of Hotrod and race.
Every one is Right.
Everyone is wrong.
Everyone can Win
All can Lose.
Truth is only 1 guy crossed the Finish Line 1st.

If it Blew up not my problem.
We discussed prior.

One Door Bar to TIG weld in left.
Pretty much done on the 1974 Buick Opal.
Ed calls it NHRA Spec 25.1..lol.

Had frame rust repair to do.
Real pain.
Got it done.
Way stronger than stock.
Tubular Frame now.
Kool stuff we did together Race Fabbing again.
Got pics for later.

Playboy broke the Frame on his 1000+ Hp G-body.
No Roll Cage.
Roll cage makes any car 50-1000 times stronger and safer.

Nice driving around Chicago and home 1hr drive at night.
No traffic.

I remember I paid around $930.00.
It had to get run by the Engineering department at Crower at the time because no one ordered Pontiac V8 connecting rods in a long time for 15 years.
They still had the Blueprints & it got OK'd.

Most guys bought Eagles.
Nearly every single one Blew up too 1 year later or less from failed Eagle Rods.

So LS Came in.

I got the money I recall after Nicky was born by selling Sammy my C4 Dana 44 I had, built it for him to Drag Race as you recall from CFC4.
