Trichotillomania - Word of the Day

The Word of the Day for October 21 is:

trichotillomania

WITHOUT consulting Webster first...does anyone know what this word means?

If you don't know the actual definition - make a creative guess!

trichotillomania
When you can't seem to find the right parts for your car, or the right thing to say to your old lady.
The voices make you yank your hair out!
Not from websters I just have a ting about needing to know what makes me do stuff.

I'd like to reply, but my wife has a slight case of it. It really makes me want to pull my hair out sometimes.

trichotillomania (tree' ko til o may ne ah) n. 1. an unusually high enthusiasm for tricho polyester made leisure suits. This mania saw it's peak in the 1970's when John Travolta starred in "Saturday Night Fever". Also a favorite material of the Bee Gees.
