I want one of those rear diffusers, what do you have planned for that?

The nice thing about a diffuser is that it is very clean looking. The car looks sleek on the track with no wing. We'll probably add a spoiler, but we're trying to avoid a wing and generate enough downforce with the diffuser/spoiler combo.

I'd like to stay tuned to this!
Are those diffusers street legal? Any issues when passing speed bumps?

We have not used this version on the street. It is very low and sticks out the rear. It would probably get damaged by a speed bump or deep dip. Our current test piece is very difficult to get out of the trailer. The strakes want to dig into the pavement as I leave the ramp. The whole thing has proven very durable as it has survived the large off at NASA Nationals when I got hit by the Viper.

We are working the diffuser design currently and will probably offer a street version that has flexible/replaceable strakes and also is a little higher and more speed bump friendly. Stay tuned.

Wow, very impressive!

I was curious about the cad models of the C6Z. Are those available to someone like me? Even iges files would be terrific.

Please let me know if I can get my hands on those files, and how.

GM provides those to manufacturers like Pfadt through the SEMA organization. They guard that info pretty carefully and we are bound by contract to use them internally only.

They make designing parts that fit much easier. We have designed without the CAD data and now with it, and I can tell you that the process is much better with the CAD data.

Not on this cage. For road race legality with SCCA and NASA that is not an option.

Thanks for taking us along, look forward to next steps on the Z!
More important it makes a saleable product that mitigates the investment and time. Let's be honest if your a shop doing Corvettes, and the kit costs less than your typical material and labor cost you'll buy it.
