Need help with my wheel choice

I have been looking at many different wheels and was wondering if a 18 x8.5 wheel with 45 offset (not sure backspacing) would fit a stock c3 suspension.

I have about 3 different wheels that all have those specs, and i've heard you have to relocate the emergency brake and other modifications to fit certain wheels.

Thanks in advanced

I have read that people have had trouble when they have 18x9's and 9.5's but wasn't sure if that size with the offset I would have could cause problems.

8.5" should fit without problems all around. As an example, the Foose Nitrous wheels in 18x8.5 are listed as a direct fit with a -6mm offset. A 235/50-18 should get you the right ride height.

[IMG][/IMG] I've got Coy C-5 18"x8" w/4" backspace and 255/45x18" Kumho tires. Fit is great and they are the same diameter as stock tires.

Thanks RTGordon and Art Jeff, I may be waiting due to the economys current condition. Btw Art Jeff, I love those wheels on your car, they look great. I think 18's look great on c3's, especially when lowered.
