Question C5 Seats getting hot

new to corvette world, C5 Corvette- Noticed seats getting vary hot down by seat belt connection. Both seats are getting hot. If you put your fingers down next to seat and pish your fingers between seat and council so hot you cant hold them there long. Is this normal???

Unless you have a short of some kind with the seat controls, you are probably just feeling heat from the exhaust. I can't think of any other source.

Welcome Harleyman2013,

I'm in agreement with thinblue - perhaps a mod has been done and shielding not put back.

Even my C6 gets hot in the center console (not a good place to stash a chocolate bar) and those areas you've described but not so hot as to have to pull back my paddies.

Smithers, unleash the hounds!
Edelbrock E-Force 1593 & Magnaflow exhaust for that healthy American sound. Before SC 354 RWHP, after SC 484 RWHP. That's all I can do and still pass California smog.

Another remote possibility is that a previous owner put in heated seats and they are in the ON position. Just a thought

RACING...Because with baseball, football, basketball, tennis, and golf, you only need one ball

I used to think that I had learned patience as I got older. Then I realized that I just didn't give a shit
