3d Printed Distributor Cover *pics*

I have a C3 but thought this belonged in the C4 section since the engine is from an 87. When I bought the car it already had the TPI motor in it. Recently I had to take it apart down to the heads due to corrosion. So since I had it apart I thought it was a good time to paint it all and make a cover since I never had one before.

I have a 3d printer handy and thought this was a perfect task for it. So after a day of measuring, modeling, and test fitting, this is my final result for a cover. This is as it was printed, I plan on painting it with the same paint I used for the rest of the parts. This is printed in black abs plastic.

Catch ya later,

WD40 was first made in 1953, named for being the Water Displacement formula, perfected on the 40th try. Does the year sound familliar?

I used to think that I had learned patience as I got older. Then I realized that I just didn't give a shit

Not bad. I'm in love with these printers. It needs to go to flat and be a little longer to be stock.

Very cool indeed. Please report back to us how the abs holds up to heat cycles.
