Saw Wanted on TV last night and that was about a 9 1/2 would have gotten a 10 if Angelina Jolis did a full frontal!

The book of Eli - 7.5-8 out of 10. I really liked it though there were some plot problems. I really liked the use of sepia instead of full color in the film. Plus the ending was surprising

"From Paris with Love"

John Travolta stars as a hardened spy in this action thriller about US intelligence agents trying to stop a terror attack in Paris. Jonathan Rhys-Myers plays an embassy staffer pressed into service to help. Ultra violent with some great chase/driving scenes.

Travolta wheels out his "Royale with cheese" line from "Pulp Fiction."

An R-rated buddy film that works and a sequel is certain.

In theaters tomorrow.

7 out of 10.

"The Wolfman"

Remake of the 1941 classic.

Benicio Del Toro gets the hairy makeover. Things are weird at the manor thanks to Sir John Talbot, played by Anthony Hopkins.

Effectively dark with good action and horror gore. A severed arm fires a pistol! In the end though, it looks like our lead character is wearing a $100 mask from the Halloween store.

7 out of 10.

In theaters tomorrow.

Saw "The Watchmen" a couple of nights ago. Although the graphic novel movies are usually really cool, Such as "Sin City", and "The Punisher" were really good, I was disappointed with "Watchmen". 6 of 10 stars.

Watched "District 9" on DVD last weekend. I give it maybe 1 out of 10. It's a faux documentary of the poor treatment humans give shipwrecked aliens in the Johannesburg area. Lot's of alien gore. This was a waste of time.

. Didn't care for it much either. All the aliens wanted to do was to go home!

"Marley and Me"...I'd give it a 8 out of 10. I cried at the end, why do they always have to make these movies so damn sad.

With that one it was because the book was so sad. The book does end on a better up beat than the movie.

I didn't know it was based on a book.

Yeah they could have at least ended the movie with a new puppy coming into the picture. If Marley was so friggin great they would want another right?
