Flag of heroes

I have a friend who lost a cousin on 9/11. Today he showed me a flag with all of the names of people lost on that day. Here is a link to the site I just ordered one and thought I would share this with you all.

sad but true, I'm encountering a lot of apathy about 9/11.

RACING...Because with baseball, football, basketball, tennis, and golf, you only need one ball

I used to think that I had learned patience as I got older. Then I realized that I just didn't give a shit

I was there on 9/11. That is something that I will never forget. The sheer magnitude of devastation was unreal. Pictures didn't really give a sense of exactly what it was like.

I have one of those flags already, it flies only one day a year.

Reading reminders like this usually make me "speechless" with inner thoughts. I can't know how those who survived and or experienced that first hand must have felt, I can only imagine. I do remember the sick to my stomach feeling watching tv as the second plane hit.

Those of us who live in the New York Metro Region will never forget the year long period of daily Obituaries from this cowardly act. To this day I meet people from all walks of life and occupations who have had thier lives changed forever. As distasteful as this War is, I'll never doubt the purpose and Validity of it. Al W.

Yeah, lot's of Heroes that day and for years after. My son, NYPD, will never be the same both mentally and Physically. He was there from day one on. His older brother a Police Officer from Long Island also served there in the early days. I couldn't be Prouder and Sadder for them. Al W.

I spent the weekend camping with a FDNY retiree who was there. All I will say is when he told his story of the week digging his friends out we could not stop crying.

These men are my heroes.

I think everyone I know still knows where they were when they heard.

There are some powerful rememberances out there. I've seen pics of a guy who had all the names of the passengers of the planes painted on his semi. I'll try to link them if I can find them somewhere or start an album.

I honestly don't understand why they pulled the media coverage. It's good to remember why we have to fight to protect ourselves, that our guys and girls are out there hunting murderers.

(insert flag smiley here too)

Because if you remembered why we have to fight to protect ourselves, you might be harder to convince that we are fighting becuase George Bush is evil.

Purely political... it doesn't fit their agenda.
