Is that where you get your love for mopar? Well here is a strong dose of reality for you. They destroyed all of them awesome cars making the show. Dodge today couldn't make a car to save their life. You can argue an old school engine. But without anything to put it in that can go around a track and without any endurance racing to prove they make a reliable product, Mopar is very much going the way of Pontiac. I am sorry this is the world we are living in, but this is very much the world we are living in. Dodge today blows cock. Hard and slow. Hell I bet them dodge brothers are so good at what they do either one of 'em could suck a golf ball through a garden hose. But on the subject of the general lee, we had one come to our shop a while ago..

Most of the Boomer Vette guys are Best Suited for GT Grand Touring.

Refusal of Turbo 400 by near all but Me.
Matt 383 also with National Drag Race Setting C4 Corvette.
He used a Turbo 400 Transmission the entire Race Legacy.

Grand Tour.

To Race against Dodge 1000 Hp you need to make sacrifices.
Build a 100 % True Race Car and put in on the street.
Anything nice adds weight and is useless in Race Battles.

I guess. I mean I have an interesting video of my LSX C5 launching but I cant post it because I don't want to utterly demoralize the entire Corvette community when they see what real power really is!

.on 87 octane.

I was waiting for You to Reply back.
It is what it is.
1000 Hp and 100% reliability does not come easy.
Low cost also.

Best way to get the Racers and Race work is to go out there yourself and do battle.
Drag.
Road Race.
Streets.
What ever you Love to do.

Road Race is insane expensive here.
So Drag and STREET it is for me.
70TA.
Vette Later.

Win Races that way.

Don't forget about Nitrous

B8 will take it.
175-250 shot.
Need a thick Race oil.
20w50.
60 w for big shots.

Oil pump on LS stock should be a Melling.
Take thick oil ok then and not break the pump.

The oil needs to stay thin. For racing you should appreciate the thinner oils with less drag. You must remember thick vs. thin, when it comes to oil flowing through tiny passages to enter bearings, is pressure vs. volume. And I do not mean pressure between the bearing and crank or between the bearings and the cam. But I mean pressure between the oil pump and those tiny passages in the bearings. This is where the oil pressure builds with thick oil. It just makes you feel better about it because that is where the sensor is mounted so to you it looks like high pressure from the thicker oil but in reality that pressure is only in the galleries and it is limiting the amount of oil that can pass into each bearing. because water flows so much better than molasses. I would never run thicker than 10w30 in anything. Our 75 502 bb solid axle racecar runs the 5w30 and absolutely loves it.

Or maybe the thicker oils work better in poorly machined 'custom' engine builds? idk. But all the motors I play with love the thinner oils. Even down here in the hot ass Florida sun.
