World Record

Here is a pic of the Guinness Book of World Records attempt of the world's largest simultaneous burnout. 114 of us got together in Memphis and took the record away from the Aussies. It's a cross between stupidity and National pride. That is not a photo of clouds in the sky. It's tire smoke.

I'm fairly certain that after 30 seconds to a minute of burnouts that many baby seals were dropping dead all over the planet. Polar bears are dropping dead and falling off the floating ice and a couple of manatees probably croaked also.

Global warming my ass. We just cancelled every Prius that has ever been sold. Somewhere between the smoke, unburned hydrocarbons, dripping oil and spilled anti-freeze the green crowd is seeing red. "Smoke 'em if you got 'em.

I know this is a Vette forum and I have one of those too but the Impala SS in the foreground was my Power Tour ride this time around.

It was the Article written by Jalopnick on the Hellcats that sold so many Hellcat Warbirds.
Almost Poetic.

He never wrote anything similar to say about the ZO6.

IT'S 1970 ALL OVER AGAIN.

RACE.

I still don't get the warbird reference. At 4400 lbs it needs 700 hp. What a pig. Can't wait to see the new ZR1 fry this pig.

i'm with you man. I think the new zr-1 should come with chevy's lsx376-b15 or lt based version of it and whipple 4.5L pd blower. it's ok that it sticks up so high, the c7 zr-1 is gonna put the engine in the back. show dodge and the rest of the world what 6 bolt per cylinder heads can do. 1,000hp

They Can't Autowiz.
A design flaw is present in every single LS - X Engine ever made.
Loosing piston ring seal at the top 1" inch of cylinders.
The more Torque and HP Pushed the worse it gets.
Loosing Ring seal.
Top of cylinders not supported enough.
ONLY RHS SOLID BLOCK LS IS CASTED RIGHT.

I gave a plausible solution in your supercharging thread tonight.
