Least cammo yet?

Looks to me that this might be the Z06 with some sort of Frunk hood vents covered with a false cover, or it's just a misleading piece of cammo covering nothing but the regular hood. OTHER than that, this looks like nothing but production body with vinyl wrap cammo and the lenses for the head and taillights removed....and the cover over the rear glass of course.

Looks obvious to me that this was NOT a record-seeking lap. It almost looks like a publicity lap given the vids at almost every corner. That's a LOT of cameras at the N'Ring. Hope you find the vid as interesting as I did. BTW, ignore the "Sorry" message and click on the blue icon to go to the vid.

That almost looked like a promotional video...haha.

Exhaust note certainly sounds different from what I'm used to.

There seems to be about an inch or 2 of cammo coming from the beltline up the window. Maybe that's what's making the car look so "chunky" to me.

I still think the front end looks too blunt, but again, maybe it's just the cammo. I think the side scoop is heavily camouflaged as well. I swear I saw the real outline of the scoop in some frames. Looks like it sweeps back from where the doorhandle might be down to just infront of the rear wheel arch.

There is not much that can be done with styling at this point.
Molds for body panels have been made.
It's been heavily critizef on FB...Looks like a Lotus or Ferrari.
GM lacks the Styling artists of the 1960's & 70's.
Steal some Banshee styling but I am sure it would be a no go.

It just has to be Super Fast.
Straight line acceleration.
Waiting for tests.
Just need 0-60 mph. I can calculate the rest.

The Guy up front that ran a Pizza Joint of the Auto repair shop I used to work at in Joliet, IL had C7 Z06 Convertible.
We were in a Mini Strip Mall on the Edge of Joliet- Crest Hill Border.
I liked the Bright Red paint.
It was OK.
He used to Do Holeshots for us showing off.
It was not very impressive.
I could see 60 foot times 2.5-3.0 seconds.
Super Slow on Launch.
It sounded OK. Was going nowhere fast.

Steve I worked with was a past Mopar Chrysler Master mechanic.
He used to work on the Dodge Vipers SRT's.
He laughed.
He knew it was slow too.

We used to have 8-9 second drag cars ride by.
Get on it and be be doing 100-130 in no time.
The Fucking ground shook.
Drag Race Thunder.

C7 Z06 did not have.
Ever.

Doomed the day Dodge Hellcat came out.

The C7 is without a doubt, the best performing Corvette ever. No disputing that. In fact a C7 ZR1 just lapped the NRing at 6min 57 seconds on cold tires and imperfect conditions. It did this despite the extra 150-200 lbs needed to keep the car from shaking to death when the engine goes into a 4 cyl mode on the hiway saving approximately 1 MPG. Yeah....1MPG at the price of at least 150 lbs of reinforcement not otherwise needed.
Add in that gansta tear rear end with a dozen+ different angled surfaces, the Pepboy's reflector tape plus more vents on the car than a High School kid can buy from JC Whitney...let's just say the C7 design is never going to achieve the design acclaim achieved by several past generations.

It won't take much for the C8 design to surpass that of the C7 and just like each generation of Corvette, each C8 model will out perform their respective counter parts of the prior generation once again raising the optimum bar for Corvette performance.

I think the C7 is one of the best looking Corvettes made. Like or hate the vents they all serve a purpose and are there for a reason.

Lol.
Gangster Rear Facia.
Funny Longtimer.
At least Crazy Ed and CJ in Joliet did not do a 32 inch rimmed Hip Hop street race C7.
Be Fick terrible.

It's too much of a Road Race car.
Unperforms Real world streets of USA.
Need instant hookup.
Be Gone pass Dodge.
All that matters to me.
Want 20 car lengths ahead in 2 seconds Power.

C8 I hoping.
