RACING...Because with baseball, football, basketball, tennis, and golf, you only need one ball

I used to think that I had learned patience as I got older. Then I realized that I just didn't give a shit

All drawbacks of Corvette IRS and getting power down for 1.0 -1.4 60 foot time thus eliminated.

I hate jet cars.

twice I have been sitting in staging lanes for a national drag event and it was time for the jet car.

Imagine sitting in your lane for second or third round of eliminations. It's July. Track temp is 130

It's 2:00 PM and it's time for the Jet car show!

No matter what elinations are going on the show goes on according to the program.

Everyone shuts down, sits and wait while these kerosene belching contraptions put on their show for the fans.

I was second in line to stage when one of these events had to start.

Joliet, Rt 66.

The Binford 9000 jet semi truck does it stuff.
3 jet enigines on the back of a semi truck
300+ MPH

Blasting it's shit through the tunnel and actually cracked the glass on the viewing tower suites windows.

Now the problem is the jet engines spew unburned kerosene and oily film ALL THE WAY DOWN THE TRACK>

After the jet show eliminations resume.

The track is ruined for the next 10 runs at least.

So you wait in the staging lanes, in the heat while this freak show goes on and now you gotta run, cut a perfect light and hit your dial in on a track covered with jet fuel shit.

Great for the fans, sucks for anybody that races after they go down the track.

I'm not saying let's go kill all the stupid people...I'm just saying let's remove all the warning labels and let the problem sort itself out.
