Totally agree. Some viper owners are very arrogant, especially towards vettes. I guess they ignore the fact that C5R smokes vipers ass in ALMS and that Sledgehammer set a top speed record that SVS cant beat and I guess a stock Z06 will outrun viper with less HP on a racetrack doesn't count as well...

Anyway, on this Viper Forum, they were all trashing the Corvette in every variation. It was completely low-class and I was disappointed.

I'm not a Corvette Loyalist. I had Mustangs and Mustang Cobras before Corvettes, and switched to Corvettes when I had the money and when the C5 came out. I'd have a Viper if it made financial sense for me, but it doesn't - especially with the rumored performance of the C6 Z06.

I will drive whatever the most bang/buck within my price range is out there at a given time.

So, I don't see the need to rag on other makes/models nor do I want to see the negative comments.

Most of all though, it does look totally low-class. The Viper owners all came off as absolute, complete SNOBS. How embarrassing.

Arrogance is not determined what you drive its who you are.You could drive a Honda Civic and be arrogant. Why dont we start blaming the people not the cars.

I was wondering how they're going to fit the 7 L in there. The 6.0 is already a tight squeeze, right?

its the same block with a longer stroke and bigger bore. displacement has nothing to do with the periphery dimensions of the engine. case in point.......MTI's z07 and Lingenfelter's 427 packages.

Totally agree. There are horse's rear ends driving mini vans as well as Corvettes and Vipers. I've been on both sides of the fence. I'm just a car guy
