RE: Out of style - NOT! ...that's a matter of opinion! (see above) ... and you know what they say, "everyone has one!"

I'm going with what a couple others are saying. This is a rendering from GM. It is of a Z06, but maybe not in final form. For one, the lower facia around the air dam doesn't look quite finished. Of course, that could be done on purpose to reduce drag, but I really don't know. The quarter panels do look finished. They're scuplted and have a proper fit. The rear ducts look finished, or very close. The scoop looks production.

Whether this is the final image or not, it's gotta be close.
Either the spy pics were taken earlier or the new pic was.I dont believe the new one is what it will look like. Are you trying to say that the scoop is the only thing that Dave Hill was talking about.I really dont think so.But the spy pics are because they show a far larger grill opening. They are just tossing us a bone to chew on till the real one comes out in January.

1) The new C6 is a beautiful car. Prior to this car I would Autocross and Track events.
Can you do me a huge favor and get Michael Moore and the Baldwin brothers to move to Canada? I'll pay for the one way tickets.

This should make sense to everyone.

Why would they send inaccurate images to the press?

They were sent these photos to publish, not just look at.

Makes no sense that these aren't anything but the production car.

I'm tired of editing this thread.

Keep on the topic at hand... if you wish to debate anything else start a new thread in the lounge. Also, personal attacks could end up costing you your posting privileges. Please understand we are way understaff'd, and we just don't have time for this.

Thank you for the cooperation.

Patrick,

I realize that it was probably my fault about the "bush economy" thing. I just want to say, Sorry, I never would have said anything if I had known it was going to snowball like it did.

I missed seeing this photo. I am assuming it was not a "spy" photo (they can't embargo them or prevent their publication) but a photo copyrighted by GM of a new Z06 and given to media outlets with the understanding that they could not be published until the embargo was lifted. They can go after the person who displays the photo on their web site (that's copyright infringement), but they can not legally prevent anyone from linking to the offending site.

Anyway, if anyone downloaded this image please email it to me. Now I'm curious.
