Dave Hill and others said it would beat anything. The new M-B SL65AMG and various sedans appear to be quicker. The new Ferrari 430 also appears to be quicker. The Ford GT is quicker also.

The new Viper is rumored to have the 600+ HP M-B twin turbo V12 with 600 + ft. lbs. of torque.

Thus we are still behind the Viper and now behind Ferrari, Ford, and M-B. That is not prgress. That is falling back almost in a free fall. The European Mistubishi Evo VIII-VFQ is almost as fast with a little engine.

I will wait until the official announcement but not happy.

It still doesn't and NEVER will look like a corvette, which sadens me, but man you can't argue with the performance built into this car.

I will never let go of my '04 Z06, but in a few years, once they get the bugs out of that brand new 7.0, I might ADD to the stable.

How can you be dissapointed in a car you have not seen run yet? Based on the power to weight ratio, this thing should run mid-low elevens with ease..

It's a gorgeous car.. imho..

No complaint about how it looks.

To reverse what you said - How can you be excited about a car based on numbers and you haven't seen it run yet.

So, it is going to be a "coupe style" body? no FRC?
