I've never been a member or any way affiliated with CF, but I hope that DC doesn't become the same way, if CF dies. because according to all of you, CF sucks, and DC most certainly does not.

DC is definitely a cool site. I still go to CF and have been a member there since Jan of last year. I do think it is overly moderated and that IB has made some changes that the faithful, including myself do not like. I didn't realize that CF was bleeding to death until I joined here, even though it was in the midst of the exile. I think there are more cool points here and you can actually speak your mind without being banned unless you are totally unreasonable. That being said, lets all enjoy the cars and people we enjoy being associated with and leave it at that!

It's pretty tough to tell if this site is any good at all, or just a new place for people to talk about CF. It's like another corner of the playground.

Why can't people just not talk about CF? It's not *that* hard to ignore the topic.

Here's a link to another comparative site:
http://siteanalytics.compete.com/cor...om?metric=attD

Seems the 2 (CF & DC) have run about neck to neck in the last 180+ days, with DC taking the lead in the last 30<.

Pretty interesting data....

Not defending it, but it doesn't suck. It blows...

sucking= (in proper giver/receiver context) good!

Blowing= (pretty much in any context!) bad!
(blown head gasket, blowing hurricane force winds....)

Seriously though, it needs a tune up

Any place can become that way. It's all in the leadership and moderation

Compete triangulates multiple data sources, including ISP, Panel & Toolbar to estimate U.S. traffic

I have no idea I am looking at except I now have an intense desire to go hiking in the Rockies.

Ok. If you have trouble following that, you're sure as hell not gonna be able to keep up with what happens next.....

(simplified version:
Red=DC traffic
Blue=CF traffic

One overlays the other.

Go to the top, and go back 365 days...you;ll see what it really looked like before the meltdown.)
