So the national debt is a good thing and not a fault?

The "fast lane" thing came directly from the companies. They would prioritize speeds to companies willing to pay for it. There's no questioning that.
Then you can't possibly support it either because not all the facts are avalible to the public.

They changed the original document by some 300 plus pages and put gag orders on poeple so they would not talk about the change.

This does not concern you?

Based on what the companies said they intend to do, I do not support it.

Yes, that does concern me. I'm not here harping on how great it is, but others here are screaming government takeover and confiscation like they know all the details about it.

As I said, when an agency like the FCC and the Whitehouse are keeping secrets, it's because it is bad for the majority of the country. This is how this admin has acted since day 1, the most transparent (as long as you think a concrete wall is transparent) admin is the worst offender since Nixon.

But, the courts have repeatedly shut these asshats down on this subject, and probably will again.

No one said that the sitting administration is without fault. There has NEVER been an administration without fault. Hell, even Reagan's popularity ratings were IN THE TOILET just before he got shot. However, the economy has taken a serious upturn and I haven't seen one thread about that. As a matter of fact, I don't think any of you hardcore pubs will as much as acknowledge that things a much better than they were in 2008, economy wise.

You willing to admit that?

I'll acknowledge that. Things are far better then they were in 2008. Do me a favor, though... point to any of Obama's policies that created this better economy.

Here's what he has done to slow and outright hurt the economy...

-Vetoing the Keystone pipeline
-Threatening a government shutdown over resistance to tax hikes.
-Tax hikes
-Imposing a national energy tax
-Offshore energy limits
-Doubling down on stimulus expenditures to green ventures
-Obamacare
-Red taping natural gas production

-Am I forgetting anything ?

What the companies intended to do was misrepresented. Yes, they wanted to develop "fast lanes" for heavy users like Netfix. But that was not going to rob speed from other users. Why should Netflix use up 60% of the bandwidth and pay nothing? AT&T and Comcast spend billions to increase banwidth. If they can charge heavy users for a fast lane, they can invest in greater bandwidth, which helps everyone. It's not a zero sum game where giving big users more speed robs from lesser users -- IF companies can charge for it. With Net Neutrality, big users will gobble up bandwidth and ISP's will not be willing to invest in more equipment to increase bandwidth. That will crowd out smaller users. It's a perverse result of unneeded regulation.

It's the Fairness Doctrine for the internet.. problem is the free flow of information on the internet. Not that many years ago, the MSM held information in a stranglehold.. the internet changed that and the left has been battling to corral it ever since Matt Drudge broke the Lewinski story.. the MSM had the story and smothered it, Drudge didn't.

This is about information control, same as the Fairness Doctrine was.

So as you see it, there is absolutely nothing that this administration has done that has helped the economy recover?

Ask him how his 401K has done after the stock market crashed back in 2008. Along with low interest rates and the value of his home today. Lots of short term memory losses.

No kidding! I lost 15% of my 401K. It has since recovered and is rising again. The pubs were in office when my loss happened and everyone here keeps telling me that the pubs are what the country needs. Now I'm no political scholar but I know what money loss looks like and feels like. For some odd reason, I ain't feeling it any more and my medical issuance went down.

I don't care for Hilary but dammit, she may be the lesser of two evils.
