Angry disassembly

I recently had the seats out on my 76 to do a dress up.
Here's what I found..at 2 of the seat track bolts broke off because of rust.

So be prepared to drill a new hole and run the appropriate tap down there.

When you are drilling through, go slow at the end just before you brake through or the drill bit will grab the seat spring and brake off

I have them installed in my 77, they are not a direct bolt in.
The width of the track is the same, but the location of the bolt holes in the seat are different, plus the newer seats are curved on the bottom.

I had to use some 1x1 square tubing, with offset holes, at each corner to adapt the seats. I believe they also set a little higher.
