Hows the reliability on a C6?

Thinking of either getting a C6 Convertible or 335i E93 BMW. I can get the Bimmer for about $13k. And a C6 I would think for somewhere aroung 15-16k. I knwo that BMW maintanence is expensive AF, and since I would be spending more on the Corvette itself, how is the reliability and maintence cost on these?
Thanks

Depends on the condition of the brakes and tires when you buy. Also, how many miles you plan to drive per year. Also, how you drive will affect gas mileage.

Other than that, my C6 has been rock solid with no costly issues or surprises **knocks on wood**.

Smithers, unleash the hounds!
Edelbrock E-Force 1593 & Magnaflow exhaust for that healthy American sound. Before SC 354 RWHP, after SC 484 RWHP. That's all I can do and still pass California smog.

With an LS3 (or an LS2) they're very reliable.

My '07 LS2 has been a dream, except for a $1600 fuel pump replacement due to a leaky $1.50 plastic gas check valve in the pump. Now that was a nightmare to my wallet, but not a problem since.

You will definitely have more fun with the C6. There is a great support community here on the internet for the gremlins they are prone to.
