Optimists think the glass is half full.
Pessimists think the glass is half empty.

The news section has evolved. What is starting to put me off of it is there seems to be some really opinionated people who never post in other sections (or seldom post), who never seem to meet other DC members in their area, and never post photos of their vehicles, etc., etc.

I have decided that they fall into one of these catagories:
1) members who have a second alias to voice their real opinions. Or members with false screen names voicing a false opinion just to create controversy.

2) people who don't own corvettes (yet claim to), but have an agenda (i.e., politics).

3) Highschool or college students who like to pretent to be something other than what they are.

I'd prefer to hear opinions of corvette owners and/or people who are who they say they are at this site, if I want republican or democrat party lines, I'd be on those sites to get that info.

Just my 2 cents.

Yep, there are a few in the news room who have a definite agenda and are on some sort of mission..
I find that if I stay away from the news room, I tend to enjoy this site more. I just love everyone. (Even the Machine.. )

Oh crap you figured me out. There are a couple people in particular on here that I noticed never posted anywhere else, one in fact that I looked at their posts and they were only responses to political threads. I think that the random news threads have exploded since all threads corvette and not were put on the home page ticker.

Former Democrat Elbert Guillory:
At the heart of liberalism is the idea that only a great and powerful big government can be the benefactor of social justice for all Americans. But the left is only concerned with one thing ó control. And they disguise this control as charity. Programs such as welfare, food stamps, these programs arenít designed to lift black Americans out of poverty, they were always intended as a mechanism for politicians to control the black community
