I have owned 18 corvettes and still have one and never been to B G * I have friends that owned a corvette ever been to it *

if any one been to it any good places to eat **
bought the tickets for the plant tour was told up and running for the tours

just to visit too old to buy a new you know social security checks really dont go too far anymore ***
want to see the damaged cars and the hole before thy fill it * I owned 18 corvettes and never been down there * friends I know that never owned a corvette been there*

so how are you doing ? did you finish the house ?? the kids must be getting big *still have you work horse the corvette?

since you saw my [email protected] ginermann I have rebuilt the motor still a 383 but a all new top end new headers & side pipes / many other parts inside and out maybe should buy a new corvette less money spent *

After your visit, post your thoughts on it. We are going in Oct. Will not be picking up a new one. The C7 just hasn't grown on me yet. I'll stay with my '13 for a while longer.

We are also planning on driving the "Tail of the Dragon". Have only driven it in my pickup. Thanks

Was a great trip ****** weather was great in the middle 80s * the road hy 65 from Chicago was great YEAH RIGHT * road construction was unreal a 6 hour ride took 7.5 hours * counting pee breaks **
The museum was great like I said my first time down to it.staff was great * so much Corvette history * you only read about *and for the hole * just to see it and at one spot your less then 2 feet away from it * sure 2/4s used for a fence still felt safe .to see the cars like only 2 feet away wanted to touch them but wife held me back * 3 of them are gone to get repaired * and the rest I think will never be fixed*
Along the way saw 8 trucks heading north with 10 Corvettes on each one wrapped with white styrofoam like with part of the front window & side window cut out* was so cool to see.
I even bought a bottle of dirt & rock from the pit $10.00

as for the tail of the dragon

Would love to drive my corvette on it but dont think I would have enough gas to get far ** I get 5 mpg not many gas stations I bet.

The Corvette Cafe at the museum is pretty decent. Wil Cooksey Jr mentions Rafferty's several times in his book, plus I heard good things about it while there for the caravan. Being a decent size city Bowling green also has several of the chain restaurants we are all familiar with.
