The line between reality and CGI is getting finer and finer. I used to be a big gamer. I think when I quit Asteroids and Space Invaders I went to Frogger and lost interest after that. I haven't done any gaming since. I think my computer may be gaming ready (3 years old) but I'm not. I did enjoy building it and it does great on video editing vids from my drone but, like me, it's old but still works. I did put these older components in a Fractal R6 case last year and even added some Thermaltake RGB fans. Just because I wanted to impress my Nephew.

I don't know if it would be able to play newer games. Could these "old school" components still work? I might get back into it and might even go for PacMan.

Very nice. So there is a really cool real time strategy(RTS) game that used to be popular and is now free to play and still looks great. StarCraft 2 is the name. up to 8 people can play against each other or in teams or you can play against computer players. This game can be downloaded free right here: https://www.blizzard.com/en-us/downl...atform=windows

Also, there is this really cool website that sells pc games for dirt cheap. https://www.humblebundle.com/

Everything is digital now. After you buy, the give you a key. Then you goto blizzard, or steam, or origin, or wherever and enter your key and download your game. No cd or anything needed for install. With that kind of hardware I am sure you have a good internet connection.

And the same company, Blizzard, is remastering their Warcraft 3 game which is the same style RTS game but in a medieval realm rather than space and alien races. This new Warcraft 3 is called reforged. here is what it looks like:

And this one. These are all kind of dark and I am getting the impression that making these cgi films is a depressing career? Or there is a depression requirement to writing for these cgi films? great visuals. Sad stuff to watch..

I miss Junk. He is good people. And his writeups were well done and helped a lot here on DC in years past. Despite the past problems you all had over political views. It is good to have color in our world. Sometimes we loose sight of that I think. If you hear from that man you tell him I said hi.
