outran a bmw bike on freeway today...

went to a car show today, on the way passed a longtime
friend thats a solo bike officer. he ran me down and told
me to GO, so i did....

i put 5 car lengths on him in a second or two, and within
5 seconds i had 50ft and was walking hard. he whooped
the siren at me and did the cut throat sign so i shut it down.

cant believe i outran a bmw police bike. yikes. thats FAST.....

RACING...Because with baseball, football, basketball, tennis, and golf, you only need one ball

I used to think that I had learned patience as I got older. Then I realized that I just didn't give a shit

11.5 @116 mph for the BMW bike Zinc.

Did good.

Big Block Vettes do well on a roll.

Plausible to shakedown the Hellcat.

yes, it was a 45mph to maybe a bit over 80mph blast,
and at 45mph with 3.73. and TH350 its doing 2500rpm,
thats right on the converter AND on the cam. didnt even
downshift, just porked it about 3/4 throttle.

i only went to 4800rpm, she will turn 6250rpm effortlessly....

id say somewhere between 475-525hp at the most.
its deceiving, my mom can drive it to the store and
it acts almost like a normal car, just a bit loud/rumpity
untill you stick your foot in it.

sure is fun ! and cant beat the daily driver reliability.
i got friends that ask all the time, why not put a
tunnel, 2x750's, a 3500 stall, 4.56 gear, etc in it
and get it to run 10s?

because then it wouldnt be nearly as driveable
and/or reliable. its great as is.

yes, i been using isky cams almost exclusively for about the
last ten years, they are VERY high quality and work extremely
well, outpull and outrev most other similar grinds from the other
"big" guys like comp, crane, etc...

my current fav is the megahydraulic in 292/.595/108 for big block
chevy, and the 280/.495/108 for smallblock. both idle like a prostocker
and pull hard well past 6500rpm yet have enough vacuum to run
power brakes--although just barely....

The Trans Am only needs 1-2 inches of engine idle vacuum for power brakes to work.
The Power brake booster has enough surface area for Atmospheric pressure to multiply applied force.
1970 Pontiac engineered For Race Car on the street.
Done different than any Corvette.

Isky Cams have been ground down to millionths of an inch tolerance since day 1.
Special Italian made cam grinding machine.
Same used on Ferrari.
