C3 Crash Manual '73 - '82

I found an old Mitchell Crash Manual and Estimating Guide in our parts dept.
from the early 1980s......In it, is listed the '73 - '82 Corvette.
(Sorry to you '68 - '72 guys.....I'll see if I can track down an older version.)

It will show you part numbers and estimated times to replace those parts.
( Do keep in mind that this info is dated 1983.....so some has indeed changed
since then ).

Mods...this would make a good sticky...

Hope everyone enjoys......cause it was a lot of trouble....

'80 - '82

this posting should become a ""Sticky"", because many part store and dealers no longer carry this information.

The Mitchell Manuals typically only go back 10 years......unless you have
an OLD CAR version. I'm going to contact some of the old shops in my area
and see if I can't get lucky and find a copy from the 70's.

The real shame is that so many of those parts have made the "discontinued" list. The guys that have a rusty birdcage could use them. Big time. Be a bunch easier to just put in a "new" hinge pillar instead of rebuilding one.
