In 1988, GM began development for the C5 Corvette. Only 14 Alpha Builds were ever assembled for testing. Retaining its original matte black finish and numerous battle scars from rigorous testing, this Alpha Build has been preserved in its as-tested condition. Due to the ravages of testing, none of the other 13 C5 Alpha Builds are in existence. In fact. no other generation's Alpha Builds were kept intact. This C5 Alpha Build is the only Corvette Alpha Build left in the world. You can see it in person here in our MY Garage Museum and Retail Store in Effingham, IL!
