History
Bought the car from my father in law. Matching numbers L48 that he bought as a package deal vette/harley back in 1996. The car was meant for my mother in law, and she didn't like it. So it has sat in the garage ever since. History beyond that is unknown. Making new history with my son building this car together.
Upon receiving the car, immediately went to install side pipes and it opened up a can of worms that resulted in a massive over haul. Found one thing after another that was either failing or done half ass. I wish I had the room to do a body off full resto. But that's not the case...for now. ;) There are some cracks in the fiberglass that need to be repaired so the car will get a new look! Ahh...too bad. lol! In the end, the bumpers will be grafted into the body for a cleaner look. The engine will eventually be a high performance 383. I was on the fence going BBC, but SBC is cheaper to maintain, and that's critical. For now I just want to get it on the road and go from there.
