Hello, I have a 1977 vette 3-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission that I bought 2 years ago and I’ve been slowly working on it. I put new heads, intake, headers....etc. I currently go to school out of state and I had to leave it at home. My parents moved it out of the drive way Onto a small little hill to work on their porch. I came home to start it up and give it a wash. I’ve been gone for about 5 months. So the battery was dead and once I got it going it won’t shift out of gear. It’s stuck in park. Any ideas how to get it out of park?

It's probably due to being parked on an incline. May have to pull harder on the shifter.
