Any suggestions on an easy way to replace the windshield washer water pump on a 1979?

Sure drop the medal shield under the car below the washer remove the charcoil canaster and drop the bottle and pump out from under the car ......................... thats what worked for me any way could not access from top on my 75.:thumbsup:

Thanks for the help. I just got there tank out and discovered a tiny leak(sealant setting up).


Do you ever wonder why GM has so many types of blood-letting brackets on their vehicles? :eek:)

It has to come out from the bottom. No way out on this one. Might have to take the right front tire off. Unless you have it high enuf off the jacks, then you will be almost sitting up waistin your arms. You will be able to inspect the heater hoses at the same time. There is not much room there.
