I have recently been going over my throttle body injection schematic, trying to learn the input and outputs of the ECM, and I see this "thing" called an "E Cell Timer Module". Does anyone know what that's for?

That was the module (if I remember correctly) that turned on the check engine light at 60000 miles. It was mounted in the battery box I think. :)

Yup, just looked it up. It turned on the check engine light forcing you back to the dealership to check the cat converter if I remember.

. . . . .By the way. . Where did you find that info - in the service manual? - Cuz if so, I definitely have the wrong one! :thud:

I actually pulled that from memory... :thud:

I then did a google search for "Chevrolet Corvette E Cell Timer Module" to confirm my feeble memory. I found it Here.

Is was a very obsure unit, that the dealerships nor GM wanted anyone to know about. It was never, in my knowledge in any manual available to the general public.
