No matter sensor I disconnect to check voltage. (I.E. set minimum air, disconnect MAP sensor, check TPS sensor) I don't get any codes. When I disconnect these shouldn't an error code show up? Since it doesn't happen, isn't this bad?

Hello!

I don't have your correct answer. Something makes me want to say "Mabye your not giving it enough time to notice." ..

Either that or I have been watching too many chic flicks.

Good luck!

And it is good to see another person from Arizona!

with the key on engine off I don't believe it should set a code.
I used to disconnect my TPS all the time to adjust and
never had it set a code.

you may not set a hard code untill the ecu sees a part fail twice,
unplug any sensor, start engine, if ses light is not on after 10-15 seconds-shut down and restart ... if you still have no code.... you may have an internal failure in the ecu

I don't know anything about the codes, but that is one fine looking '73 you have there JCswm. Big block? Stick or auto?
