You need to invest in a Factory Service Manual. The manual and the supplement will have wiring diagrams and troubleshooting charts to help you figure out this problem (and other questions that you've posted).

The Helms price for the manual is $95. This ebay auction is $99 or best offer. There are other '91 FSM auctions also going on, so this isn't the only one.

I can take a look at my '95 FSM, and it may be the same as your '91 with respect to wiring the PW circuit - but you really NEED the FSM if you plan to do your own repair work.

Does the driver side switch lower the passenger side window (and the passenger side switch does nothing)? If it does, then my '95 FSM says to replace the passenger side switch.

90-96 Power Windows are set up the same (sans the express down offered in 94-96) The Express down can be added to the 90-93. I have it on my 91 dash conversion and plan to add it to the passenger side.

Also if you want the Passenger side switch has 2 wire harnesses out of it, un plug both and plug the 2 ont he car side together to bypass the pass switch.

with all the work you are doing you should get the 91 FSM

Ok I bypassed the switch and nothing happened, what next?
OKay we know now the Pass switch is good..

did you remove the door panel?

Check the voltage at the moto while moving the switch in one direction or another.. maybe the motor is bad.

:agree:

It's probably either the motor (most likely) or an open ground.
