:bang i got a 1999 chevy truck got a problem with the dach cluster you can start the truck everything everything (all the gages and the digital security section)you can turn the truck off and restart it and the water and gas gage does not work and the security flashes to the battery and low fuel . anyone have a clue to what it might be :huh:

The clusters themselves are bad about malfunctioning. I might get it scanned and see what codes are in the computer but if nothing is found you're probably going to have to change your cluster out. Had similar problems with a chevy venture that was on the lot and it fixed it right up.

we replaced it with another cluster,mind you it was used but what is the odds of it being bad. hate to buy a new one didn't know if a wire could be off or shorting out at least it was hopeful wishing thanks for your info:buhbye:
