I guess this has to be brought up now that we have the MSRP pricing for the 2008 Corvettes thanks to Mr. Conti. Do we know if the government added a gas guzzler tax to the new C6 coupe and convertible? What about the Z06?

we would have seen this in the earlier order guide from GM....it is another untold part of our value story - no gas guzzler m even on ZZZZZZ!

Though the window sticker gas mileage has been reduced for all 2008 models, the real world economy is unchanged. Also, more importantly, the fuel economy calculations for the gas guzzler tax remain unchanged, so if there were no changes to the fuel economy for a 2008 model (again, other than the way the EPA reports them on window stickers), and it didn't have a GG tax for 2007, it won't have them for 2008 either. The tax is calculated using the original 1975 fuel economy calculations.
