saw a jet stream blue coupe today and grabbed some pics, it reminds of the IROC blue of the mid 80's. I think the shot of the front emblem shows just how much metal flake is in the paint. also here is a couple of videos of the car starting up with the new exhaust. hope ya'll enjoy

Im sorry, but that color doesn't belong on a muscle car. Looks like something Papa Smurf would cruise around in.
i agree with you but when i went to the corvette assembly plant and i saw them in person they weren't as bad as i thought

Awesome Sound...

That exhaust sound is truly awesome. Thanks for posting that here:partyon:Also I think those are the best representation of the blue we have seen. I LOVE it, hope it looks as bright in person. To me it looks almost wet, if that makes sense. All you others out there share your thoughts..

its brighter in person i was impressed. i had a 89 camamro that was electric blue and this color is very close to that. the exhaust sounds great to me! glad you liked the pics, it was the camera not me lol

its darker than the nassau blue on the c5's

In person, the color really shows nice, but, I would like to see GM offer at least on other shade of blue. Electron Blue, Le Mans or Admiral would be a great option.

looked at some more 08's today and seems like most of them have the old wheel. wonder why so many wheel variations. the more i look at the split spoke the more i like it but you cant get it in chrome.

JSB looks great on the coupe but its not what I'd want on a Z--its just not mean looking.

The new polished single spoke wheel has grown on me and I now like them a lot. But the split spokes still don't do it for me.

NPP RULES! I'm not big into aftermarket cat-backs but I wouldn't buy an '08 Vette without NPP -- its a total home run by GM. :partyon: :partyon: It should be standard on Z-51 (along with the Z06's magnesium engine cradle and battery relocation, but that's another subject...)
