i have a c4 with the 50th anniversary rims. fronts are the 17's rear are the 18's originally came with 275/40/18's on the rear. well there bald now in a big way and i would like to know if its ok to fit the rears with 295/35/18 tire. did a bit or research, 20mm wider and a few ticks shorter but nothing huge. will i have any problems here? or are they just too wide for the stock rims. thanks for the replies and yes i did do a search but couldn't find squat

I have had 295/35's and currently have 315/30's on the 18 x10.5 wheels that I have on my 90. Shouldn't be a problem.

I am currently running the 295/35x18 Goodyear GSDS tires on the rear and 255/40x17 on the front without issue. Speedo is off a bit.
