I was changing my oil today when i saw under the engine and saw it said 327. Is it suppose to say that??

It could be just a casting code. Where abouts did it say that? As far as I know, LT1's are 350's (though I heard once that the caprice got a smaller one, but I can't say for sure).

ALL LT1 blocks are supposed to say 327 on them......No worries, all Corvette LT1 engines are 3.48 stroke, 4.00 inch bore, 4 bolt main 350's.......Joe:thumbsup:

Corvettes are 4 bolt mains.[edit] When I first read Joe's post I must have missed his specification of Corvette LT1's. Pardon the intrusion.

thats NOT 100% true in all cases! theres a BUNCH of two bolt L98 engines to point out one major exception

I think my L83 is two bolt as well. That's why I have a 4 bolt block sitting in the corner.
