Hey All, I bought a Keisler 5spd kit for my 81 a while back, in the kit comes a New cross member, It does not fit correctly! the 4 bolts line up from the bottom, but I can only get one of the long bolts through! From what I see my only option is to elongate the two middle holes? Has anyone else ran into this? I cant return it, as I painted it, and bought it a few years ago! So this one has to go in! Thanks

Its not that far off! Say 3/16, not in backwards tabs for e brake cable face the rear. Id love to post a pic...

Loosen but don't remove the frame bolts.

See if you can slide the bolt through without elongating the hole.

If it goes in, get it in position, then tighten the frame bolts.

Basically get all bolts in loose and started, then tighten them all up.

Might not have to actually modify anything.
