4 hole or open?

Generally a 4 holer will help your low end torque and an open spacer will help the top end.

I have a 4 holer 1" under my Edelbrock and it did make a better low end , and I can feel a loss at higher rpm's.

It's said that the optimum spacer can only be found by experimentation because each engine is different.

Regardless of which type you choose, a phenolic material spacer is better because it helps keep the carb cool.

hmmmm .. wow.. i can smoke my tires hehehe..
it sure does make a difference.. but i think the carb repair kit did too !
the floater had a leak.. so it was sucking gas left and right !
no it drives a lot better.. but my scoop is 2" higher so i can barely see a thing.. i allmost got hit 5 times now.. since i cant see the idiots turning on me with out looking ! and ofcourse the Horn aint working so..
god help me...

I had to get rid of my 2 inch spacer when i put my performer rpm intake on.
I never went to buy the bolts to put on the 1 inch spacer.
