I've started seeing some major progress on the car.
As some of you are aware, this vette was purchased with moderate front end damage to the driver's side.

....dam, great job....

....I wish I could work with "mud" getting that quality results...:D
Oh, not my work.
My brother and I work inside the engine compartment, not out (for the most part).

Bondurant Auto Body is taking care of the large scale body work for me.

If you are in central Iowa, these guys are tough to beat.

The pipes...gotta love the pipes!

When I first fired over the car after installing the pipes...
WIFE: (furious) Your car is shaking the house! Are you serious?!

Me: GRIN...

Car is looking great and coming leaps and bounds from that heart breaking first image. Gotta be exciting!

Thanks folks!

Lots of small, detail oriented stuff to do on the exterior and the engine work/upgrades I have planned.

In the end it should shape up to be a decent 76.

The car looks like it's coming together very nicely, I like the direction you are headed with the head lights and spoiler choice you have posted in the other thread.

I look forward to seeing your progress.

Those look like a set of HID conventionals & projectors in the FIAA housings, are you going to use flat plexi-glass instead of the traditional bubbled covers?
Still using the bubble covers. I don't know for sure yet, but I think the light mount area comes out just far enough to still require a bump. I'll update when I start mounting them.

Jim is testing flat covers over the next couple weeks.

Head lamps arrived
Seats should ship soon
Crane Fireball ignition arrives today
Air dam waiting word from Ecklers
Front signals and grills should ship by tomorrow
