Hi all, just a little question about my 79 fuel gauge. A couple of months ago i lowered my fuel tank to remove tow bar setup then raised it back up. Now could wire have gotten caught somewere and shorted out as gauge went off the scale to the full side then after about 10 mins driving it is back to zero when it should be about 3/4. If it was shorted to ground would it blow the gauge? got to do some work to the old girl soon as it cools down here, 100*f in my shed lately:thud:
